Latest production update and New things!

While doing final editing we have done a few changes. when editing the sequence of the facebook scene we desicded after reviewing the music video that it felt too long and could lose the audiences interest. therefore we decided to break this up but either using another clip or something else. We then thought that the best thing to do was to put a band shot which was of the drum. This gave varity which made an improvement. Another thing while editing was that we found that the way the bedroom pan shots where odd in the way they were filmed. So, Morgy then thought she would put this shot in reverese. In addition to disise the cut she added a dissolve. This worked as when i looked at the shot i did not notice the reserse added or even the cut that was made between each room. Due to this i feel that the audience reaction would be the same.

NEW THINGS !

During this production i have used techniques that i have learnt  in the previous production in AS. However, while creating this music video i have learnt more things. One thing i have learnt through using Adobe premiere pro is how top resovle my rending problems. This was due to when having to render the clips i notice that when completed there are some things that were not done. That was untill i noticed that the bar (shown by a arrow on the link or in the box above) has to cover the whole film in order to render  all the clips that are needed.

Sound
In addition i have learnt something to be aware on when working with sound on a production. I learnt this from members of my group. They told me that we need to make sure that there is no cliping in the audio. However, i did not know what this meant.

I learnt that cliping is wherethe audio starts going to loud and clashes. this dissorts the music which then cuts out. To make sure this doesnt happen we have to check if the line turns red. This is shown through a example video i did of on our production
